Responsibilities of Editorial Board Members

As an Editorial Board member, your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing submitted manuscripts for quality, relevance, and adherence to the journal’s standards.
• Assisting in the recruitment of high-quality submissions from researchers and scholars.
• Advising the editorial team on journal policies and strategic direction.
• Promoting the journal within your academic and professional networks.
• Attending virtual editorial meetings periodically.

Eligibility Criteria

We are seeking individuals who meet the following qualifications:

• A strong background in Christian education, theology, or a related field.
• A doctoral degree (or equivalent professional expertise) in a relevant discipline.
• Prior experience in academic writing, editing, or peer review (preferred but not mandatory).
• A commitment to uphold the mission and values of GJCE.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
